what is moda?
THE MUSEUM OF DIGITAL ART is dedicated to the digital art that decorates our world. Located in New York City, a city long known for its celebration of the arts, MODA seeks to celebrate the art form born from the modern age of technology. However, our way of doing so separates us from the city’s other grand institutions such as the Met and the Museum of Modern Art.
Each artwork on view at MODA will be shown on large screens rather than canvases, and you can use QR codes to bring up the artwork on the MODA app. Viewers can zoom in and view details close up on their phone. On the MODA app, the viewer will meet a AR character, fittingly named MODA, who will guide them through the gallery and offer a more interactive museum experience.
DEFINING THE BRAND
-
THE MUSEUM OF DIGITAL ART aims to create an environment in which the beauty of digital art can be appreciated by people all over the world. Whether it be through visiting our museum in person or from the safety of home through our online 3D exhibition, MODA is here to bring artists and art lovers together. We seek to utilize technology to elevate the museum-going experience and create a level of interactivity that visitors will remember.
